Deputy Manager - Supply Chain


Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Management:

- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to manage the flow of electronic components from suppliers to production.

Vendor Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Inventory Control:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.

Procurement:

- Coordinate with the procurement team to source and negotiate contracts with suppliers for electronic components, ensuring competitive pricing and terms.

Quality Assurance:

- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure all electronic components meet the required specifications and industry standards.

Logistics Coordination:

- Oversee the logistics and transportation of electronic components, ensuring timely delivery to the manufacturing facility.

Cost Optimization:

- Identify opportunities to reduce costs within the supply chain without compromising quality or delivery timelines.

Process Improvement:

- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and mitigate risks.

Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all supply chain activities.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, particularly in the context of electronics and the automobile industry.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain processes.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to supply chain and procurement.

Preferred Experience:

- Previous experience in the 2 or 3 wheeler automobile industry is highly preferred.

- Proven track record of managing supply chain operations for electronic components in a manufacturing environment
