Job Description:

Job Purpose:

- This position exists to manage Supplier Quality Function of Company's products & Improve Product Reliability

Responsibility:

- Handling Companys Powerware suppliers related to Casting & Sheet metal commodity.

- System audit & process audit at all identified suppliers as per plan, On-time closure of observations.

- Performance monitoring and review of critical suppliers.

- Perform Monthly Quality Development Meeting with worst performing suppliers.

- Ensuring reduction in Line rejection / PDI rejection / field rejection due to supplier issues.

- Monthly communication with identified suppliers regarding concerns, change management & performance.

- Improve supplier capability for Manufacturing, Quality, Cost & Delivery.

- Support supplier selection through robust qualification processes. Perform Vendor PPAP as per plan

- Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends.

- Work collaboratively with suppliers to resolve supplier complaints related to bought-out parts and ensure closure reports are submitted against the critical complaints reported from field.

- Responsible for Uses of relevant PPE's during audit for safety.
