Deputy Manager - Sourcing - Metals & Plastics

Urgently required DM Sourcing for one of the leading US MNC in Gurgaon

Qualification : BE (Mechanical) + MBA from Premium Institutes is essential

Experience of Metals and Plastics are essential

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Proven good experience of sourcing in the following categories :

Plastics- materials - PP, ABS, POM / tool development

Metals - materials - Brass/Stainless Steel, development of dies

- Knowledge of other categories like packaging/rubber.

- Knowledge of Process like Injection & Blow Molding -Plastic, Die Casting-Brass/Zinc, Sheet Metal -Brass & Stainless Steel

- Knowledge of Spend Analysis

- Knowledge of System - SAP & Microsoft Excel & Power Point

-Knowledge of New Product Development & PPAP approval process

- Experience in price negotiations / contracts

- Strong logical approach towards approaching pricing and vendor evaluation related issues.

BASIC FUNCTION :

The incumbent will be responsible for sourcing of supplies from within India and overseas;
