Deputy Manager/Senior Process Expert - R2R - CA

Job Title: Process Expert - Record to Report (R2R)

Reporting To: Head Process Leader - R2R

Location: Pune, India

Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes for assigned entities/geographies.

- Supervise journal entries, reconciliation of financial statements, and maintain accuracy in general ledger accounts.

- Lead month-end closing activities, including financial statement preparation and consolidation.

- Provide technical support to Process Analysts and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and policies.

- Oversee Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Payroll Accounting.

- Coordinate statutory audits and support internal/external audits as required.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for R2R processes.

- Calculate tax provisions and prepare tax returns (withholding tax, GST, etc.).

- Ensure performance delivery meets SLAs and KPIs of the Shared Service Centre standards.

Requirements:

- CA/ICWA qualification preferred.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in R2R function, with at least 2 years in a team lead role.

- Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting principles and ERP systems.

- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

- Experience in Manufacturing or Shared Services Centre environment is advantageous
