Description - To be part of the Body Exterior team in the Product Engineering function and contributing to both Indian and global upcoming projects.

Client Details :

The client is a leading OEM in India with a global presence across geographies

Job Description :

- Responsible for development and execution of system requirements for one or more of the aforementioned Body Exterior commodities: Door Claddings, Roof Racks, Spoilers, Side Spoilers, Wheel Arch Liners etc.

- Responsible for Homologation and regulation as per Indian standards through defining SORs, Technical review and technical assessment of the supplier for exterior.

- Responsible for both sheet metal exterior parts as well as plastic aggregates/components

- Responsible for Benchmarking, Design review and DFMEA review of components and organizing proto development and testing

- Development of accessories Parts development from SOR creation, testing to Quality support

- Responsible for quality/Warranty issues both predictive(during development) and reactive ( Post Launch) for all Plastics /Trim parts

- RCA for engineering related issues.

Profile :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering with atleast 6 years of experience in automotive sector

- Preference will be given to candidates with OEM experience

- Knowledge of BIW & automotive grade Plastic

- Knowledge of tool development for trims and parts

- Hands on working knowledge of material properties, Indian standards and regulations
