Business Intelligence - Commercial Data Analytics teamJob Summary :- An expert with data management & strong attention to detail who can work independently. Reporting to the process lead, this role is responsible for reviewing and compiling large data sets, analysing the data and making critical insights based on the data that lead to strategic decision making.
- The role necessitates working with a wide variety of software tools, systems and data sources to satisfy the information requirements of the Portfolio Management function, with an emphasis on advanced Excel, Python (or related systems), and Qlik in order to conduct analytics.
Job Responsibilities :1. Create data sets, utilizing internal data, such as financials (net sales, gross margin), volumes, development dates, to drive and shape the global portfolio strategy.
2. Create data sets and models utilizing publicly available data such as market trends and projections, sales data (IQVIA) and utilize models to project the future of segments of the US and Canadian pharmaceutical industry.
3. Lead data analytics on Category Reviews (technologies, therapeutic areas, etc) at portfolio and product selection team meetings to drive strategy discussions.
4. Create predictive analytic models.
5. Lead meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with key stakeholders, including cross-functional team members, and senior executives
6. Be a subject matter expert for reporting and data utilised by Portfolio Management
7. Creation of timely and accurate reports to identify opportunities, exceptions, and bottlenecks, and empower Portfolio Management and stakeholders to improve their processes flows and ensure alignment to the associated governance model.
8. Working independently, interpret and analyse portfolio-related data using exploratory and statistical techniques based on scientific methods.

Job Requirements :Education :1. Qualification in Finance/ Economics/ Statistics/ Information Systems or related field from reputed educational institutions.
2. Formal education in data analytics/data science from reputed universities/ schools considered an asset
3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
4. Experience in a portfolio and/or data driven role within the pharmaceutical industry considered an asset
5. Advanced skills in MS Excel
6. Expert in Python, R and other advanced statistical methods.
7. Experience managing multiple datasets, including cleaning data and analysing data.
8. Self-motivator that will drive to achieve results even in the face of unknowns
9. Innovative and resourceful, with strong problem solving skills
10. Experience in reporting tools such as Qlik or related visualization tools.
11. Excellent oral and written English communication skills
12. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
13. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to internal and external customers
14. Proven ability to function in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment
Experience :1. 5+ years' experience in performing reporting and data analytics.
2. 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical or consumer packaged goods industry
