- Responsible for Material Planning of Spare parts orders.
- Managing & controlling all activities of Spare parts division / stores in coordination with logistics agencies. Assigning and evaluating the work performance of personnel assigned to logistic activity / stores.
- Planning of Monthly sales plan of Spare parts based on AOP & POB review with materials, production & parts marketing dept.
- Follow up with Materials dept. for early receipts of material to propone deliveries & to complete customer orders in best possible time.
- Arrangement of economical & speedy transportation for the dispatches to ensure timely deliveries in view of Sales realization & LDS of orders.
- Arranging order related documents / amendments to orders from customers through Marketing / Spares representative.
- Correspondence with customers and Spares representative for informing status of orders.
- To manage/generate sales invoices in the ERP system.
- Analysis of late delivery cases for improvement in future orders.
- Coordination with external inspection agencies for inspection of orders from Indian Navy & Coast Guard.
- Inventory management by proper planning of material based on consumption pattern, Min-Max level. Ensuring inventory levels to achieve sales targets and availability with minimum holding of stock.
- Analysis of inventory by using various tools such as ABC analysis, FSN analysis, monitoring of Shelf life of components.
- Implemented perpetual inventory, Periodic preservation activity, Individual packing concept in Spare Part division.
