Payroll Processing - Deputy Manager - Shared services - Manufacturing

- Lead the Payroll process of Non-Management Staff salaries

- SME for the various SBUs by ensuring timely & accurate processing & payment of Payroll via Robotic Process Automation

- Ensuring end-to-end & robust Process Documentation/SOPs that are reflective of current process

- Expert knowledge on Statutory compliances/deductions like PF, ESI, Professional Tax etc.

- Resolve errors & any issues seen in the processing before confirming for disbursement

- Manage issues, escalations & exceptions, liaising with HR, Corporate Payroll & other Teams as required

- Coordinate with Employees & Payroll Team in Corporate to resolve queries, if any

- Ensure timely identification & reporting of Risks & adherence to Controls

- Identify improvement opportunities

- Perform clearing & maintaining hygiene of all Payroll related GL Accounts for all entries posted by SSC Team

- Preparation of 24Q Templates for each Quarter & sharing the Annual Returns & other updates with External Payroll Consultant as per statutory requirements

- Liaising with Payroll Technology Support Service provider/RPA Support Team for any issues identified in Payroll processing

- Assist all Internal & External/Tax audits in a timely & accurate manner

- Ready to take additional responsibilities as per business requirement

Required Candidate profile :

- M.Com / MBA - Finance

- Candidates with prior experience in shared services / BPO mandatory

- Should have min 5+ yrs of experience in payroll Processing

- Well versed with SAP FI

- Prior experience in Automation Projects would be an added advantage

- Quality certifications such as Lean, six Sigma Black Belt would be an added advantage
