Responsibilities:

- Payroll Operations: Overseeing the entire payroll process from start to finish.

- Full & Final Settlement: Processing settlements for employees exiting the organization, including leave encashment, gratuity, PF, and ESIC processing.

- Reconciliation: Ensuring accuracy by reconciling payroll accounts with the salary register and preparing audit schedules.

- Employee Query Handling: Addressing and resolving queries from employees related to payroll and other HR matters.

- Leave Management: Managing leave for both on-roll and off-roll employees.

- Head Booking: Booking various payroll-related expenses such as reimbursements, incentives, and bonuses.

- Payroll MIS: Generating management information system (MIS) reports related to payroll.

- Database Management: Maintaining HRMS (Human Resource Management System) and Excel databases.

Competencies:

- Payroll Processing: Proficiency in both manual and automated payroll processing methods.

- Tax Knowledge: Understanding of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) on salary and tax perquisites.

- Statutory Compliance: Familiarity with various statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, Professional Tax, LWF, and labor laws.

- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with MS Office, including Excel and possibly macros.

- Exposure to data analytical tools like Tableau or Power BI is advantageous.

- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

- Attention to Detail: Being meticulous and thorough in handling payroll and related tasks.

- Learning Agility: Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies with a positive attitude.

- This role requires a blend of technical proficiency in payroll processing and statutory compliance, along with strong communication and attention to detail.

- Additionally, the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies is beneficial in ensuring efficient payroll management.
