Deputy Manager - Any Manufacturing Sourcing

Job Purpose : Responsible for achievement of business objectives by ensuring timely submission of cost sheets to project management, supply of requisite input materials i.e. raw materials, consumables, solvents, reagents, packing materials, spares, stationeries etc; Periodic follow ups with all the stakeholders, service both internal and external customers to meet the organization standards as well to meet the requirements of regulatory authorities.

Educational Qualification :

- M.Sc with Chemistry/M.Pharma as one of the subject in degree studies

- Diploma in Materials Management from any reputed institute.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cost Sheet preparation for complete list of materials required in project.

- Knowledge on GMP and regulatory requirements.

- Knowledge on complete transaction of sourcing and Procurement (Purchase to Pay )

- Sourcing right vendors globally for all raw materials, packing and choosing competitive vendors.

- Good manufacturing practice (GMP) process and selection of vendors and audit co-ordination

- Good negotiation with vendor for Pricing, Quality, INCOTERM, delivery turn around time (TAT) etc.,

- Releasing the purchase order (PO) as per agreed turnaround time with due diligence

- Knowledge on MSEZ / SEZ / EOU taxation, compliance, and documentations

- Identifying recurring materials and vendors to execute annual rate contracts

- Coordination with cross function team for licensing requirements for restricted materials

- Intensive follow-up with vendors for prompt deliveries

- Achieve 99% QUOTIF as per requirements

- Complying with Safety and Regulatory requirements

- Follow-up with finance for payments to the vendors

- Bringing Good Practices and Striving for continual improvements

- Vendor performance rating and evaluation.

- MIS preparation

- Fulfill end user requirements of emergency materials on day to day basis

- Attending regular / monthly meeting

- Regular updates to the end users.

Technical / functional Skills :

- Sound knowledge on Biologics, raw materials, process consumables, chemicals, Excipients, and Packing materials

- SAP - MM module

- Good knowledge on Import regulations for licensed and restricted products.

- Knowledge of Customs and Excise procedures

- Negotiation skill and vendor development

- Purchase experience in CRO, CMO, Pharma companies

- Knowledge of International Air Traffic Association-Dangerous Goods regulations

- Better co-ordination with forwarder / CHA / logistic partners

- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
