Deputy Manager/Manager - Procurement/Capex - Business Conglomerate

Looking to hire Deputy Manager/ Manager Procurement (Capex) for Leading Business Conglomerate in Mumbai. Must have experience in vendor management, good negotiation skills & finalization of contracts. Qualification - B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical, Production, Electrical) & MBA.

Please find below the Job Description

1. Initial Review of Packages of received from Site Commercial for Approved budget,TR(Technical Recommendations), Legal Terms & Delivery period, tables, Calculations of Price Basis, LPO Value/Cost Estimation.

2. If found deviations from the standards, then raising Query for clarification to Site commercial or concerned user.

3. Scheduling the negotiations based on suitable Dates.

4. Meeting timelines in completion of package .i.e within 21 Days of receipt of complete files.

5. Timely sourcing of Equipment,goods & Services and Managing Vendors.

6. New Vendor Development and Evaluation.

7. Coordination with technical team, legal dept, taxation for finalization of contracts.

8. Negotiating & Finalizing long-term supply and service contracts, ensuring system compliance and adherence to procurement process by all businesses.

9. Liasing with legal, taxation, stakeholders and obtaining approvals from top management for awarding contracts.

10. Identification and introducing new vendors.

11. Keeping self updated on latest commodity and currency trends, market intelligence.
