Deputy Manager / Manager - Costing

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

- Understand the costing system for manufactured products and ensure its effective implementation.

- Collaborate closely with the R&D and purchase teams to optimize costs.

- Perform actual costing, analyze variances, and identify areas for operational improvement.

- Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.

- Initiate and evaluate cost reduction ideas to enhance efficiency and profitability.

- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) decks according to agreed timelines.

Requirements:

Educational Background: Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with 8-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work Experience: Previous experience in the costing function of a mid/large size company in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or FMCG industry.

- Proficient in using SAP in a manufacturing industry setting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.

- Fast learner with a positive attitude.
