Deputy Manager/Manager - Audit - Bank

In this role the team member will be responsible for following areas and activities for management of Digital Banking Audit for the Bank:

- Conduct process walkthroughs for allocated areas to gain an understanding of the controls in place.

- Perform test of design to assess the adequacy of controls in mitigating potential or assessed risks.

- Conduct test of effectiveness to ensure that controls are operating as intended throughout the audit period.

- Identify root causes and financial impacts of audit findings and provide recommendations for improvement.

- Assess the design of systems, including BRD's and UAT, related to various systems and identify opportunities for enhancement.

- Review all new products and processes from a regulatory and internal risk control perspective and ensure that appropriate controls are in place.

Qualifications:

- Relevant experience with Fintech

- Related certifications ( CA/CISA/CIA or similar ) preferred

- Six Sigma GB, BB/PMP certified is preferred

Role Proficiencies: For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following:

Knowledge:

- Candidates should have experience in banking, financial services, financial reporting, risk management or internal/external audit.

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

Skills:

- Reviews design of products, channels,etc. to ensure adherence of regulatory and internal guidelines

- Good knowledge and understanding of retail banking/ asset and has prior work experience in Banks/Fintech

- Understands onboarding, KYC/VCIP journeys

- Understanding of AI , data analytic tools and applications

- Strong analytical skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.

- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
