Logistics Deputy Manager

Major Job Responsibilities :

- Transporter Management - Identifying & Participating in screening of new partners / transporters from across the India , follow the logistics procedures, negotiate for competitive pricing, and accordingly decide on the service providers and signing the contract.

- Indent Management Placement of sales indent, conversion of bulk to bagged product, Involving in rolling forecast and monitoring the inventory status to arrive the net requirement for the month. Working closely with the TP Packing units, own plants and transporters to ensure the materials are supplied to the depots.

- Statutory Management - Ensuring compliance with agreements, the inclusion of field WHs in marketing licenses, and attending statutory audits by internal and external auditors.

- Field WH Management: Ensuring products are moved at designated field WHs only in such a way that optimum inventory is maintained. Agreements are renewed before expiry and stocks are maintained to have no damage.

Qualification :

- Any Graduation (Chemical, Commercial, Agriculture background is an Advantage) + MBA in Logistics or

- Any Graduation + MBA in Agri with logistics experience

Experience :

- 6 years in Procurement function

- Exposure to Agriculture Input Business (preferred). Other industries like cement, paints can be considered.

- Knowledge on LOGISTICS and Warehouse Management is very important.

- Exposure to Commodities market.

Knowledge :

- Transportation and WH management - strong knowledge

- Agriculture Industry (crops, crop pattern, crop yield, soil conditions, monsoon, seasons, crop related diseases, irrigation facilities, Govt. supports etc.)

- Good understanding of Multimodal transportation Techniques Fert., SND and CPC products

- Agriculture Business (farmer economic conditions, investment, expenses, profit to farmers, loans etc.)

- Company product portfolio, sales plan, policies & strategies

- Regulatory and statutory compliance requirements (domestic and international)

- In-house manufacturing capability

- SAP, TIME, MS Office
