Deputy Manager/Joint Manager - Business Development - Energy & Strategy

Job purpose:

To assist in group strategy by providing strategic analyses on new/emerging business models in energy/agri-business and drive initiatives to capture opportunities in existing businesses

Role and responsibility:

1. Research on emerging trends in energy, agri-business sector and identify the potential business model(s)

2. Developing and presenting business and financial analyses to senior management

3. Identify opportunities for process improvement in existing businesses and developing recommendations

4. Able to do in-depth strategic analyses as needed and identify new technologies to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions of plant operations

5. Build and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders including team members, customers, suppliers/partners

Qualifications and Experience

1. Engineer (MBA preferred) with strong techno-commercial skills

2. ~5-8 years of work experience, preferably in Energy and related sector(s)

3. Demonstrated experience in emerging businesses in Energy would be an advantage
