Deputy Manager - Internal Audit & SOX - Consumer Durable

we have an urgent role with one of the biggest consumer durable group at Gurgaon.

Designation : Deputy Mgr Internal Audit & SOX

Qualification Required :

Chartered Accountant/MBA Finance/ CFA with 1.5-3 years post qualification experience

Experience Required :

- Experience in internal audit / operational audit / External Audit and/or previous experience in analyzing business processes;

- Familiarity with IT tools and spreadsheets. Exposure in SAP or any major ERP

- Strong proficiency in basic PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques (Tableau, PowerBi, Alteriyx etc.)

Profile :

- Assisting completion of Sarbanes Oxley 404 obligations, performing process write up, walkthroughs, testing, advising on remediation

- Participate in formulation of the audit plans.

- Assist/prepare audit planning memorandum and prepare/tailor audit programs. The audit program will include the assessment of internal control design, operating effectiveness and overall control environment effectiveness.

- Perform fieldwork in accordance with the approved audit program. This will generally include identification and testing of internal controls, analytical review, and substantive testing. Adhere to audit schedules.

- Prepare concise & effective written reports, identify deficiencies and make practical recommendations for corrective action.

- Leading assigned process studies, identifying process improvement suggestions and preparation of standard operating procedures

- Discuss control improvements, risks and suggestions with superiors and management. Interface with the business for rigorous follow up for implementation of the recommendation and providing support for the same.

- Demonstrating awareness of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing as promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors

- Demonstrating the ability to research issues, trends, etc. via external sources

- Contribute to periodic Audit Committee reporting process

- Contribute to the Data analytics program of the function

- And most important - be a change agent!
