Position: Dy. Manager ( Indirect Tax)

Educational: BCom/ MBA

Experience: (7-10) yrs

Location: Baner, Pune

Key skills: Indirect tax, GST Audit & assessment.

Must have experience with MFG sector on SAP

Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Indirect Tax related responsibilities:

- Responsible for GSTR2B reconciliation with GST input credit and hold GST amount payment of Noncompliance vendor until GST Compliance is completed by vendor.

- Resolve GST compliance related queries of vendors and ensure maximum ITC utilization.

- Responsible for GST non-compliance ITC expenses out approval from management on yearly basis and recovery from vendor of ITC loss due to noncompliance.

- Responsible for preparation and filing of GSTR1, GSTR3B and GSTR9/ GSTR9C returns.

- Responsible preparation of GSTR6 return (Input Service Distributor) and Job work return ITC04.

- To check and review the documentations Export with IGST payment, also incorporate the said details in GST return for refund, maintain the tracking sheet of IGST refund.

- Execution in indirect tax assessment, face to tax authority and resolving the queries on the same and get tax assessment closed Independently.

- Track all the Indirect tax pending issue, audit points, assessment point, appeal, hearings through indirect tax tracker and get reviewed with management on monthly basis.

- Responsible to Develop, implement and streamline indirect tax compliance processes Such as SOP Related GST input credit, GST Non-compliance vendor payment hold and GSTR2B reconciliation.

- Explore & coordinate with various technology partner for identify the automation /solutions on various process of indirect tax.

- Providing the necessary training to plant store/ dispatch team on various GST compliances documentation & process to avoid the future non compliances & risk.

- To ensure the monthly GST related accounting entries & ITC utilization in SAP.

- Advice & implement of change in process as & when require to avoid the further noncompliance & risk.

- Preparation of required data/schedules for statutory audit /internal Audit/Cost Audit as and when require.

- Analysis of AP & AR transaction to ensure the appropriate liability & ITC has been booked.

- Government Incentive/Subsidy related work (PLI, PSI, IPS) :

- Preparation & monitor of state level incentive work as & when require.

- Apply for IEM certification or ensure amendment in MSME registration for new projects.

- Explore & coordinate with various professional consultants for to get eligible for various stage level incentives

- Responsible for submit the various incentive claim application as and when get dues.

- Coordinate with professional consultant to get update on claim submission.

- Need to track incentive project & filling quarterly/ yearly incentive require return / report & compliances.

- Track all the Incentive application and pending claims through tracker and get reviewed with management on monthly basis.

- Work closely with Head Finance and CFT on various incentive projects.
