Opening for Deputy Manager HSE for Mumbai Location in reputed company

Position: Deputy Manager HSE

Jd :

- Identify, plan, develop, and implement EH&S programs

- Responsible for the safety induction, and certification training of new employees as well as subcon.

- Provide weekly safety training with the sub-contractors and direct field employees areas of discussion include tool box talks and learn and live

- Perform bi monthly training to the area managers and field supervisors to ensure they are complying with the EHS program and also to keep them abreast of any new safety requirements or initiatives

- Provide support and guidance for high risk work activities such as working at height confined space work, cutting and welding activity, Hoisting and rigging activity

- Ensure the field develops and implement systematic process of risk assessment for specific jobs and critical activities to ensure all work is completed safe and efficiently

- Develop and implement a planned inspection program for electrical safety, PPE Inspection and general site safety

- Coordinated two emergency response procedures and mock drills at the offices, to include emergency evacuation simulations

- Conducted safety due diligence inspections prior to acquiring or moving to new offices

- Responsible for conducting at least 9 unannounced audits of field personnel of new equipment sites

- Enforcement of various work permit systems

- Compliances to the applicable Legal Rules & Regulations

- Safety Walk through with the Site Management, Project Management Consultant & Client to monitor

- The working standards with regards to EH&S during the execution of the project.

- Organize and Monthly Safety Committee Meetings, Supervisor's Meeting, and Regional Quality Council (RQC)

- Participate and lead the accident / incident investigation, reporting and analysis

- Carrying out Cross regional Safety audit.
