Deputy Manager - Finance & Controlling
ROLE PURPOSE:
- Responsible for planning and coordinating the budget and business planning activities of the assigned plants in alignment with divisional and corporate policies and practices.
- Is in charge of all related activities to close the monthly and annual financial books - as well as preparing the annual operative planning and the respective standard cost planning.
- Provides financial direction to the assigned plants and provides recommendations to improve site performance.
- Acts as supportive function to the plant managers in all financial matters.
Responsibilities and Functions:
- Executes all activities related to the monthly and annual closing of the financial books
- SAP - CO & FI Exposure is a must.
- Prepares the annual operative planning as well as the annual standard cost planning
- Monitors all activities and ensures compliance to all divisional and corporate financial standards
- Executes and supports periodic inventory valuation including all related material movements (physical inventory taking, WIP, depreciation etc.)
- Prepares and evaluates relevant reports and maintains financial accuracy for all plant processes
- Analyzes all business trends and provides required explanations to all stakeholders (plant management, Corporate etc.)
- Develops profit and loss metrics to facilitate key performance indicators of the plants
- Assists management and executives to achieve business objectives
- Acts as sparring partner to plant management, LC Controller and other stakeholders
- Supports the improvement and standardization of Controlling tools
- Designs and maintains the plants' Cost Allocation Models
- Actively ensures high movement and master data quality in the ERP system by maintaining and executing all relevant Controlling activities and validations (e.g. Order Accounting, Cost Allocations, Material Master Data etc.)
- Provides support to relevant ad hoc projects and analysis
Qualifications and Experience:
- CMA/CA Final qualified
- Knowledge of SAP (especially modules FI & CO)
- 7 yrs to 11 yrs of Exp. in Controlling domain (Manufacturing Industry)
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes
- Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
