We are looking for Deputy Manager - Compliance for a Life Insurance Company in Gurgaon.

Job Responsibilities

- To ensure that all IRDAI Regulatory Reporting (Routine and Adhoc) is being done on BAP portal and otherwise as per regulatory timelines

- To ensure adequate compliance documentation is being maintained for IRDAI filings, communication etc.

- To update Compliance Library regularly

- Support business and operations by ensuring all marketing material (including advertisements and other literature) are in compliance with applicable IRDAI Advertisement Regulations

- To obtain Compliance Sign offs from respective functions on a monthly basis.

- To do reportings to shareholders and other compliance matters.

- Assist in preparing compliance monitoring calendar and checklist for compliance monitoring activities of various functions

- Implement compliance monitoring as per the calendar and advise management on key gaps identified during monitoring

- Conduct follow-up and review to ensure gaps identified are remediated within the agreed time lines

- Gain confidence of internal functions by demonstrating high levels of proactiveness and problem solving capability so as to effectively discharge the function's responsibilities and achieve its objectives.

- Carry out compliance monitoring of various functions in line with the Annual Compliance Plan of the Company

- Process Improvement/Adherence with maker/checker mechanism in place for all regulatory reporting

- Strong documentation and governance leading to satisfactory audits

- Robust compliance calendar to ensure organization wide compliances and reporting and monitoring of compliance sign off for validation checking

Candidate can be from Health Insurance or Life Insurance.
