Deputy Manager - Business Finance/Finance & Accounts - FMCG

Job Purpose

- The Business Finance person will be responsible for reviewing all business MIS, PNL, all - financial and critical data.

- He/she will share the insight and discuss with all stakeholders on cost savings, growth.

Job Description:

Key Tasks: Build an analytical and data driven business finance function and support on the following tasks:

- Set up forecasting model to help improve predictability to bring in financial discipline.

- Monthly / Quarterly numbers and PPT preparation for review for Leadership Team

- Build framework for annual operating plan and conduct periodic budget vs actual variance analysis along with comments.

- Work closely with cross functional teams to resolve issues if any on P&L

- Guide the team on data analysis for any decision-making scenario, bringing out business insights that are not visible in regular reviews.

- Proactive in reviewing financial information, identifying exceptions / and any irregularities initiate action to rectify and follow up for logical closure.

- Establish ROI on investment and do monthly track and share inputs with Management.

- Participate in budget discussion and support scenario building / simulation modelling.

- Hands on experience in reporting.

- Analyzing Menu Mix, Sales, Cost, PNL.

- Driving Cost saving projects

Candidate Requirements:

Qualification

- Bachelor's and Master's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Commerce or a related field, MBA is preferred.

- 8+ years of experience in working in FP&A function or Business Finance preferably in the QSR, FMCG industry.

Functional Skills:

- Clear understanding of financial accounting and compliance

- In depth and practical knowledge of providing cost analysis, business case reviews and investment analysis

- Strong knowledge of business budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling

- Ability to evaluate new business initiatives and the development of business cases to clearly articulate the benefits of identified opportunities or projects

- Proficient in MS Excel / Analytics tool / BI Visualization tool

- Insight generation and driving improvement

- Vendor performance analysis and vendor optimization decision support

- Tail end spend tracking and optimization strategy creation

- Working knowledge of D365 (Dynamics) and SAP is a plus
