Roles & Responsibilities :
- Planning of warehouse(s) : Decide the location, size, layout, manpower requirement and equipment of the warehouse(s) optimizing productivity and overall costs
Manpower management :
- Identify sustainable channels of manpower hiring
- Design training process for fast ramp-up
- Empathize with the team to ensure maximum retention
- Design efficient warehouse management workflows for unloading, put-away, storage, picking, sorting, dispatching & returns
- Challenge the status quo of operations at regular intervals and come up with innovative and more efficient solutions
- Customer Relationship Management: Take ownership and execute all client needs to ensure client satisfaction. Maintain a long lasting relationship with the client
- Groom and develop subordinates to create a high performing team and cater to the team's growth aspirations
Skills Required :
- Dynamic, self-starter and highly motivated individual who would like to work in an intellectually & professionally challenging environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Leadership and team management skills to engage and motivate the team members
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment to drive both strategy and ground execution
- Affinity in setting up, reviewing and optimizing processes through a data backed approach
- Excitement of working in a start-up environment with high level of ambiguity and change
We are not looking for candidates over 5 years of exp; Tier 1 or Tier 2 B school is a must
