Deputy General Manager - Treasury

Job Purpose:

To efficiently control, monitor, and managing the accounting and operations of the organisation's bank relationships and liquidity management

Responsibilities:

- Monitoring and managing the organisation's bank relationships and liquidity management

- Analysing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management

- Forecasting of medium and long- term funding and hedging requirements

- Daily cash management.

- Debt facilities management

- Ensuring Debt Covenants

- Interest rate risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies

- Performing treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debt & capital management

Performance Measures:

- To develop a fundraising strategy to diversify the company's income strands

- To prepare funding proposals and reports for prospective investors

- To liaise with funders, sponsors, donors, etc

People Management:

- To manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team that meets agreed objectives, delivers best practice results, and works to make continuous improvements

- Set department objectives/KPIs and review ways in which to enhance the performance of the capacity planning department and add value

- Report of achievement of targets and identify any actions required
