Role: DGM - Transition Management
Job Responsibilities :
- Deliver all Transition Projects in line with established Transition Methodology, CARES framework.
- Interface with client stakeholders - Define the Operating and Service Levels required to meet the business requirements and establish timelines and quality of deliverables
- Work closely with Operations and business enabling teams (NSS, Training, Admin, PEX, Legal, Compliance etc.) throughout the transition life cycle till project reaches steady state
- Ensure that the project charter is defined, team members identified, roles and responsibilities well defined and that timelines and documentation requirements are understood
- Create detailed project plans, list deliverables & milestones & track progress
- Identify and manage the knowledge transfer activities required
- Create and effectively manage stakeholders
- Monitor the project ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner and the appropriate corrective actions are implemented
- Lead on-going Transition governance meetings, periodic reviews and drive actionable
- Maintain the project specific activities, actions and status within the transition tracking tool
- Track and manage the performance management of the various engagements
- Assist in the enhancement of the Service Readiness and Assurance checklists
- Coordinate and maintain standard deliverables (documentation, enhancements and updates) to ensure all team members are delivering consistent documentation
- Ensure strict commercial change control to manage deviations
- Adhere to relevant escalation processes to escalate resource issues, delayed project phases, missed deadlines and other planning issues
- Conduct VoC at initiation of transition & on completion of the transition
- Review transitions after completion, incorporate transition learning's & determine any corrective actions that could be taken to improve future delivery in terms of cost, quality and customer satisfaction
Competencies / Qualifications / Requirements :
Mandatory :
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practice (for example, PMP, PRINCE)
- Experience in Healthcare/Pharma/Life science domain
- Good hands-on experience of MS Office Suite (Excel) and MS Project skills
- Excellent communication skills at multiple levels within an organization (Business stakeholders, Team members and senior management)
- Results orientated individual with energy and commitment with a high degree of initiative
- Highly Organized, Strong desire to succeed and share success
- Strong presentation skills
- Good documentation skills
- Work well within a team and by themselves;
- Be able to manage multiple milestones and deadlines
- Comfortable in working in a cross-cultural environment
Desirable:
- Project Management qualification (E.g.: PMP certification)
- Experience of working with, and in, virtual teams
- Experience working in multiple time zones and on multiple projects
- Experience of project delivery in all aspects of the Transition Lifecycle Management for the introduction of outsourcing or managed support services
- Experience in the management of projects to budgetary constraints and where effective change control has been incorporated
