- Ensure material cost reduction to improve margins of the business
- Negotiation with suppliers- Develop strong internal client relationship to understand and meet key business requirements
- Monitor and control logistics efficiencies
- Select and identify suppliers, keeping in mind the business requirements, to ensure optimimum and reliable delivery to customers
- Proactively interact with customers to ascertain their needs
- Be a point of escalation for internal clients/vendors and suppliers with respect to purchasing queries
- Optimize inventory or material cost, ensure movement of material at possible cost
- Establish Robust SS systems and ensure as way of working with team. Vibrant in creating cost down opportunities, Responses of RFQ/ Presales support and look out for new potential suppliers. Exiting poor performing suppliers
