Deputy General Manager - Process Engineering

Position Summary:

- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Process Engineering.

- The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the process engineering team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our chemical production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the process engineering team to ensure the successful execution of projects and daily operations.

2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and troubleshoot operational issues.

4. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all process engineering activities.

5. Mentor and develop junior engineers to build a high-performing and motivated team.

6. Drive innovation and implement best practices in process engineering to enhance product quality and production output.

7. Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans for process engineering department.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field is required.

- 12 to 20 years of experience in process engineering in a reputed Chemical/Agro chemical/Polymer/Paint company.

- Proven track record of leading process engineering teams and delivering results in a chemical manufacturing environment.

- Strong technical expertise in chemical processes, process optimization, and project management.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations applicable to chemical manufacturing.
