Deputy General Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Propose new ROS for RFPs & provide conclusions on costing for route selection based on technical assessment and provide FTEs/timelines for costing
- Kick off meeting participation - planning document/review of MSDS search/preparation of safety assessment
- Safety assessment of the reactions and compliance to requirement
- Ensure overall lab safety and people safety
- Literature search to support project progress
- Supervise overall progress of projects, documentation activities (PDR, reports, financial details, FTEs man hours) are provided in time
- Oversee trouble shooting activity, review and communicate results
- Provide all details required for progress updates, PDR preparation, report preparation
Review of the updates :
- Review of action items from internal/external meetings and complete them
- Preparation of project development reports and signing of those reports after review
- Provide learnings and findings of the projects
- Preparation of reports such as weekly updates, manpower allocation sheet, project tracker
- Provide norms to PM after development for re-costing
- Complete costing after development work/demo batches to understand the impact (deviations from Quote) of development work
- Ensure required dispatches (samples/products) are completed as planned
- Ensure appropriate inventory of chemicals, glassware, paraphernalia for lab work is maintained
- Intra and inter departmental communications
- Ensure all appropriate trainings are taken before and during execution of work
- Ensure technical trainings are arranged and imparted for team members to enhance knowledge base
