The DGM Operations will oversee and manage the operational activities for facade, stone cladding, and rainscreen solutions projects. The role involves leading teams, ensuring quality and safety standards, managing budgets, and coordinating with clients and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage all operational aspects of facade, stone cladding, and rainscreen solutions projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project objectives.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure team performance meets company standards.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for continuous team development.
Quality and Safety Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Implement corrective actions where necessary to address any issues related to quality or safety.
Resource Management:
- Manage the allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to ensure optimal utilization.
- Oversee procurement processes and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor project costs and control expenses to maximize profitability.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
- Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks to project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project risks continuously and implement contingency plans as required.
