Position Title - DGM Marketing & Branding

Reports to - CEO

Department - Sales & Marketing Corp Communication/Media

Grade - DGM (Senior Management)

Location - Mumbai

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Competencies - Skills, Knowledge & Attitude)

Academic & Experience :

- A Master Degree in Marketing, Events & Public Relations or related Field

- Minimum five year working experience with ATL / BTL / PR / Media industry

- Minimum five year working experience on brand development.

Competencies :

- Sound written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.

- Splendid personal presentation and grooming, expert strategic and proactive leadership and presence. Positive & Confident towards work

- Excellent time management skills to ensure multiple tasks simultaneously are completed within compressed timeframes.

- Active listening, thinking & team-oriented working skills.

- Proven ability to design, develop and implement both communications and strategic programs and supporting tactics.

- Ability to understand technical and business concepts and express these concepts clearly in communications

- Capability to be flexible and open to changing priorities and challenges.

- Able to generate ideas to promote brand

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION :

Maintain and manage the reputation of the company through engage, communicate and educate the target audience, ensure to fulfill the expectation of management for internal and external communication. Develop and roll out communication strategies that maintain and enhance the KRA public image

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Activities :

- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness

- Identifying and establishing multiple channels of communications for both internal and external purpose

- Design Branding, positioning and pricing strategies

- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand Mkt share

- Prepare and manage monthly, the quarterly and annual budget for the Mkt Dept.

- Tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity

- Hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects.

- Build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels

- Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door

- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution

- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis

- Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups

- Build strategic relationships and partnerships with key industry players, agencies and vendors

- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely

- Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies

- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals

- Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly

Branding & Communications :

- Creating a corporate brand strategy and engage other departmental heads

- Developing branding initiatives, internal communications & external media relations.

- Coordinating with various departments to provide relevant content for the collaterals.

- Coordinating with a design agency to develop artwork for collaterals

Media Networks & Relationship :

- Identifying key media decision makers, journalists, senior editors and establish effective relationships.

- Coordinating with PR agency to maintain sound relations with media fraternity

- Ensuring periodical connect with media through one to one meetings

- Generating & regularly updated the data base of media personnel for direct mailers and other communications.

- Ensuring monthly complementary copies from various trade magazines.

Publications :

- Identifying the trade magazines open to accept authored articles, quotes & interviews.

- Ensuring the articles to be prepared in advance in line with the editorial calendar of selected industry trade magazine.

- Generating authored articles and sharing with the concerned department for their views and improvements.

Website Management :

- Identifying & coordinate with IT & procurement to finalize one of the agencies to provide website development solutions

- Working closely with agency & IT team to ensure that the website comes out as per the set objectives.

- Coordinating with all HODs and concerned people of various departments to provide content relevant to their department.

- Ensuring the website is user-friendly, literature is well edited, visually attractive, technically sound and meets industry standards.

Social Media & Direct Mailer :

- Identifying appropriate social media to amplify the initiatives taken through various media routes

- Social media includes Linkedin, Facebook & WhatsApp

- Amplifying PR initiatives through direct mailers on mail and book post to various customers.

- Format of the content to be in ppt, pdf or image only which cannot be copied elsewhere.

Budgets :

- Identifying core initiatives and preparing yearly media, PR and event calendar

- Ensuring appropriate budget allocation to each initiative

- Proposing budget to management for approvals

- Keeping track and records of money spends in various initiatives

Review Presentations :

- Preparing quarterly & annual work presentations to review agency and internal departmental performance with management.

- Coordinating with PR agency to prepare & share their own review presentations measuring the work through AVE methods.

- Reviewing PR agency performance through the online medium, in coordination with L1.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :

- Minimum one publication every month, total twelve per year.

- Minimum one direct mailer every month to all customers, total twelve per year.

- Active participation & timely execution of marketing initiatives taken for industrial customers.

- Timely, internal and external coordination to develop collaterals.

- Timely development & regular updates of the website should be interactive and user-friendly.
