Key Purpose of the Job :
The Sales Lead - LFR is responsible for formulating the sales strategy and driving achievement of revenue & collection targets for the organized retail / LFR partners. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key vendor representatives and organized retail / LFR partners is critical to the role. The role holder is also responsible for making on-time collections and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Educational Qualification / Experience required :
- Graduate in any discipline (including engineering), with a full time MBA (Sales and Marketing specialization)
- Experience of around 8 to 14 years in sales function in IT distribution sector / Telecom Distribution (preferred)
- At least 8 plus years of experience in channel sales with organized retail / LFR partners
- Should possess understanding of the sales, distribution and channel management process in the IT distribution sector
- Should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Should possess strong relationship building skills
- Should have strong knowledge of market dynamics
- Experience of having lead sales team of around 10 to 15 members
- Should be willing to travel extensively
Key Responsibilities :
1. Responsible for formulating sales strategy and driving implementation for the assigned organized retail / LFR partners
2. Drive achievement of revenue targets (quarterly, annual) for the assigned organized retail / LFR partners
3. Drive achievement of stock management, order delivery and on time collection targets for the assigned organized retail / LFR partners
4. Manage relationships with key stakeholders such as key vendor stakeholders and organized retail / LFR partners.
5. Responsible for leading Large Format Retail sales team
