Deputy General Manager - Industrial Relations & Compliance
Job Responsibilities :
- Creating IR strategy for the organization in line with the business requirement across business verticals.
- Designing Policies, creating processes and procedures related to management of third party manpower across locations.
- Review of the local environmental challenges and the requirement of respective business verticals.
- Responsible for creating a culture of pro-active IR within the organization.
- Overseeing settlement & union negotiations wherever Union is in existence.
- Climate Study for new projects of various businesses considering risk assessment & mitigation plan.
- Representing management at conciliation, and before different Courts / Tribunals as and when required.
- Overall responsible for Manpower compliances across business verticals.
- Management of Compliance vendor.
- Capability development of team on broad IR Framework and statutory compliance.
Qualifications & Competencies :- 15+ years of overall experience of which the last 5-7 years would have been in a senior leadership role.
- Should have worked in global MNC, having sizeable business in India.
- Experience in design and implementation of IR programs, policies and initiatives in Indian/multinational organization having a diverse workforce and spread geographically.
- Ability to connect with various business stakeholders provide strategic foresight and support on IR & compliance.
- Self-motivated, result driven individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exposure to good employee relations practices and ability to manage a large contractual workforce will be desired.
