Deputy General Manager/Head - Strategy & Business Planning - Agri

1. Work closely with business leadership in formulation of long-term business strategy for all businesses and completing the process of MAPC, SWR and MBR

2. Work closely with business leadership to identify and evaluate new business opportunities in a structured process and in formulating of business strategies and plans and implementing and monitoring the same

3. Providing inputs, identifying growth and business development opportunities in existing lines of the business and then formulating plans for implementation.

4. Exploring opportunities for technology and business partnerships for complementing the growth plans.

5. Plan, Coordinate & Execute the Agri business executive council meet and ensure smooth execution of Monthly Periodic Reviews of the business by the team

6. Carry out an analysis of the stated organizational goals periodically, and coming up with an implementable action plan

7. Study & monitor Agri environment, policies, trends, market intelligence, Competitive Scan, Environment analysis, Risk assessment for key businesses and support in decision making

8. Establish and run Data Analytics \on business data for inferences to support decision making & implement action planned

9. Project Management to ensure delivery of projects undertaken for various business-Perform role of PMO (Program Managements Office) effectively for tracking and monitoring progress on strategic initiatives by various teams / task forces.

10. Identifying and evaluating potential business areas of improvements as part of overall strategy with a view to enhance productivity and profitability. Help business in implementation plan for growth and new product introduction.

11. Sharing information with business heads on macro environment, latest trends, and competition, business practices.

12. Working closely with the President and (if needed, M&A team) to identify and evaluate organic and inorganic growth and diversification opportunities.
