This role is crucial in fostering a collaborative work environment and experience in HR, IR, Statutory Laws, PMS, T&D, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and driving employee engagement and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement integrated HR and industrial relations strategies that align with organizational objectives and promote a positive workplace culture.
Employee Relations:
- Cultivate effective communication channels between management and employees, addressing grievances, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Union Relations:
- Serve as the primary liaison with labor unions, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and maintaining constructive relationships with union representatives.
Compliance Management:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, conducting regular audits and implementing policies that reflect industry best practices.
Conflict Resolution:
- Mediate disputes and conflicts efficiently, employing negotiation and problem-solving skills to minimize workplace disruptions.
Talent Management:
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build a skilled and diverse workforce that meets operational needs.
Performance Management:
- Design and implement performance management systems that encourage employee development and align with business goals.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and create programs to enhance employee skills, promote career advancement, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Workforce Planning:
- Analyze workforce trends and forecast staffing requirements to ensure optimal resource allocation and operational efficiency.
Health and Safety:
- Collaborate with safety teams to promote a culture of health and safety within the workplace.
Qualification And Experience:
1. MBA in HR or a related field with Minimum of 15 years of experience in industrial relations and human resources, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a Manufacturing Industry sector.
2. In-depth knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining processes, and best practices in industrial relations and HR management.
3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
5. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven insights to inform strategy.
