Deputy General Manager/General Manager - Fund Raising - Housing Finance/NBFC

A reputed Housing Finance Company in Chennai is looking for a Fund Raising Professionals where the Borrowings 3000/4000 Crores in raising funds from Banks/NBFC etc

- Continuous monitoring of cashflows to ensure timely and adequate liquidity to meet out the maturing liabilities and business requirements.

- Towards the above, sourcing of funds from Banks, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, NHB, etc. in the form of term loans, Debentures, Commercial Papers, Securitisation, working capital lines, etc.

- In the regard, the required liaison with external agencies like credit rating agencies, trustees, auditors etc.

- Ensure related accounting, then and there

Investment :

- Tracking the market value of SLR daily to invest as appropriate

- Daily Investment of surplus funds

- Ensure related accounting, immediately.

Regulatory Compliance :

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of multiple returns to NHB / RBI on different dates

- Reporting of Liquidity Coverage Ratio on committed timelines

- Conduct ALCO meeting every month including preparation of ALM statements for the meeting

- Computation and Capital Adequacy and Principal Business Criteria

Budgeting Process :

- Involve in budgetary exercise and update the projections on a quarterly basis

- Estimate CAR and PBC

Accounting :

- Knowledge on Ind AS and implementation in NBFC

- Liaison with statutory auditors for quarter end accounts and multiple certification

- Strong system orientation to automate process that are hitherto done manually

Major Tasks/activities :

- Technical Appraisal management and MIS - Ability to negotiate, documentation, drafting of term sheet, etc

- Manage due diligence, provide information about the Company in a precise manner

- Build & nurture relationship with lenders, market intermediaries to raise debt funds from various sources

- Engage with Rating agencies

- Preparation of corporate presentations, Information Memorandum for lenders

- Preparation of Analytical information, as per requirements of Lenders

- Assess liquidity position and to initiate borrowings suitably

- Track key macro-economic developments like RBI monetary policy, G-Sec yields, debt market movements, and assess impact on borrowing strategies

- Report and Manage Treasury activities, cost of funds, liquidity position, etc

Others :

- Proficient in preparation of various reports as per requirement of HFC / other lenders

- Excellent communication, hands-on experience in financial analysis and Preparation of presentations

Educational Qualifications :

- CA

Experience :

- Atleast 15-20 years of experience in carrying out direct assignment transactions with HFCs/NBFCs.

Skills :

- Proficient in preparation of various reports as per requirement

- Experience of transacting with Banks, NBFCs, Arrangers, Rating agencies, etc

- Candidate should be proficient with all MS Office tools, advanced features and analytical tools

- Understand the business and strategy, articulate it through effective presentations of numbers and information

- Experience in financial analysis and Preparation of presentations

- Familiarity with RBI prudential norms for NBFCs, Accounting norms would be desirable

- Proactive approach takes initiative and ensures completion of tasks

- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and Presentation skills

- Experience in Indices
