Currently looking for a candidate to take up the position for Credit Contoller - DGM/ GM level for world's leading mobile services & technology solutions company.
Location : Gurgaon
Key activities include:
- To oversee and streamline billing and collections processes for Mobile and IT BU's
- Work closely with Global and APAC Credit teams for customer credit limit management process and liaison with local business teams for effective compliance to Global credit policy
- Provide oversight and direction to the team in the Credit Control function in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
Billing and Account Receivables:
1. Pricing approval in line with the business plan for various products under various BUs
2. Responsible for review and approval for Credit Notes/ Debit Notes issuance to customers across BUs
3. Responsible for review of AR and Inventory management and work closely with business for timely collection and inventory liquidation
4. Responsible for collections and balance confirmation from customers across BUs
5. Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management
6. Responsible for Month-end closing of the billing group information
7. Responsible for managing internal/ external audit
Credit Insurance Management:
1. Responsible for building healthy relationship with Insurance service provider
2. Responsible for review and getting credit insurance done on timely basis
3. Periodic review of customer's credit limit and situation and recommend action as appropriate
4. Assist in the setting up of the credit control system
5. Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
6. Regularly contacting customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
7. Ensure that all transactions are compliant with Company's policies
8. Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
9. Work closely with legal team on defaulting customers
10. Work closely with IT team for improving automation within the function and development of the Customer Portal and other functional initiatives
Other:
1. Provide oversight and direction to the team in the Credit Control function in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
2. Responsible for compliance to Global policies
3. Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department
4. Other duties as delegated from time to time by the CFO or Finance Manager or any other person designated in their absence.
