Urgent Opening for DGM - Employee Relations / Industrial Relations Position based at Tamilnadu.

Need: We are looking for Core Industrial Relation candidates who are well verse with factory licensing & Labour Law, Statutory compliance with minimum 15years of IR exp., Corporate HR shall not apply.

Designation DGM - Employee Relations

Department - Human Resources Development

Years of Experience Candidate with 18 - 20 years of experience in manufacturing Units as well currently in Corporate/Unit Role with good exposure to Employee Relations, Statutory Compliance, Contract Labour Management, Disciplinary procedures.

Edu. Qualifications : MSW / MHRM / Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations and Labour welfare Management / PG Diploma in Social Work / PG Diploma in Labour Laws & Personnel Management / Master of Personnel Management (MPM).

Responsibilities

Candidate will be supporting SVP - HRD for Employee Relations function and will be responsible for the following;

- Experience in IR and standing orders will be an added advantage

- Factory License - Supervising legal approvals encompassing initiation/operations of a factory like obtaining plan approval/factory registration from Factory Department, consent to establish/operate from PCB, approval from city planning department (BDA), NOC from Fire Department, environment clearance, groundwater clearance and getting trade certificate.

- Industrial Relations 


- To maintain industrial peace at the Unit without giving room to work stoppages or any loss of man days.


- To maintain a harmonious relationship with Union and addresses the grievances of the employees periodically and promptly.

- Work discipline


 - To ensure maintenance of discipline in the factory and take appropriate disciplinary action as per the stipulated procedures whenever any act of misconduct is committed.

- Design and deliver an over-arching industrial relations strategy with the key focus on modernising Trade Union relationships

- Support Head of HRD, People Business Partners and line managers in negotiations with Trade Unions on a wide range of company issues
