Deputy Chief Technical Officer - Waste Water/Bio-Medical Waste/Environmental

One of our client is looking for a Dy. Chief Technical Officer based at Nagpur. The incumbent should have relevant experience in Waste Water, Industrial Hazardous Waste management, Bio-Medical Waste Management & Environmental Consultancy.

The incumbent must have:

- An excellent working knowledge in sectors mentioned above if not all than at least in two sectors

- Demonstrated project management experience in above mentioned sectors

- Demonstrated familiarity with implementation of the laws, policy and regulatory processes relevant to environmental sectors mentioned above

- Experience in drafting guidelines/ protocols/ strategy for use in Environmental Management

- Training and capacity development expertise

- Strong financial and data analysis background

- Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment

- Confidence to assert and influence key business stakeholders

Key responsibilities :

The appointee will be responsible :

- To review the whole operations, carrying out environmental audits and assessments, identifying and resolving environmental problems and ensuring necessary changes are implemented.

- Delivery of environmental projects across a range of sectors mentioned above

- Developing and implementing environmental strategies and action plans that ensure corporate sustainable development;

- Taking the lead on sustainable procurement for all goods and services

- Liasoning with relevant bodies such as local authorities, public bodies and competent bodies
