Job Title: Business Finance Manager (Deputy CFO role) - Directly Reporting to the CEO

Position Summary:

The Business Finance Manager will lead the entire finance department for the domestic business, overseeing a team of 20 professionals. This role is essential in managing all accounting and financial planning operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving financial strategy to support the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Leadership: Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Compliance Management: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Indian GAAP. Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and other statutory requirements for financial disclosures.

- Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.

- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

- Strategic Planning: Drive the budgeting and forecasting process, providing strategic insights to support business decisions.

- Performance Optimization: Liaise with the finance department to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.

- Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and legislation affecting the industry.

Key Result Areas (KRA):

- Timely Financial Reporting: Ensure all financial reports are accurate and submitted on time.

- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements.

- Internal Control Effectiveness: Develop robust internal control systems.

- Strategic Financial Insights: Provide actionable financial insights to support business decisions.

- Team Leadership: Effectively manage and develop the finance team.

Mandatory Selection Criteria:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

- Minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (as No. 1 or No. 2) within a listed company.

- Extensive exposure to consolidation, finalization, audit, and compliance.

- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting at both corporate and plant levels.

- Proficiency in planning, budgeting, cost optimization, and MIS.

- Hands-on experience in SEBI matters and compliance.

- Proven track record of managing a team and acting as a strong business partner.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience in a leadership role within a family-owned Indian company.
