Deputy CFO / VP - Finance
Our Manufacturing client with a Turnover of 16000 Crores is looking to hire a VP - Finance.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Leadership :
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability objectives.
- Oversee the financial operations of multiple business units within the group, ensuring robust financial controls and reporting mechanisms.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors, executive management, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including SEBI guidelines.
Board and Investor Relations :
- Act as the primary liaison with the board of directors, providing them with timely and accurate financial information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and other disclosures required by SEBI.
- Manage the company's investor relations program, including earnings calls, investor presentations, and shareholder meetings.
Strategic Planning and Analysis :
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to align financial goals with operational objectives.
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Operational Excellence :
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
- Oversee the treasury function, including cash flow management, capital structure, and financing activities.
- Ensure efficient tax planning and compliance.
- Lead initiatives to improve financial processes and systems, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
Leadership and Development :
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop succession plans and career development programs for finance professionals within the group.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications and Experience :
- CA/CPA/MBA in Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the auto sector.
- Proven track record of managing board and investor relations in a publicly listed company.
- Deep understanding of SEBI regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High integrity and ethical standards.
