Looking for Deputy Business -Microfinance with one of my NBFC (Microfinance) client in Kolkata region. Having experience of working and managing diverse geographies (3-4 States) at an operational level.
Job Description:
- Directly responsible for driving revenue target and for maintaining portfolio quality for the zone.
- Responsible for new client identification, credit notes, managing existing clientele portfolio, internal presentations, portfolio monitoring and MIS in order to achieve overall budget/targets of the Dept.
- Provide Leadership and management to the Operational team. Build and maintain productive and strategic relations with customer's / line manager / stakeholders to drive the development and delivery of business solutions and revenue growth for the microfinance business.
- Independently coordinate with Client team, Rating agency, peers in other Banks/FIs for managing the relationship
- Interacting with Credit Risk team, WB Operations team, Product Teams - (Treasury, Transaction Banking, Salary teams, Legal, Compliance, Enterprise Risk Team) for client requirements and delivery
- Loan disbursement & documentation function including liaison with legal, compliance, other teams.
- Responsible for maintaining portfolio quality within budgeted levels.
- Managing operating unit profitability as per the business plan.
- Review control the branches operating costs within the budget in order to maintain cost control. Managing OPEX as per the business plan and aim for lowering the same.
- Ensure early break-even of all operating units in the zones.
- Ability to put forth independent views and come up with analysis/ways to increase business in terms of effective cross sell and optimal use of Bank's loan/non loan products.
- Responsible for achievement of overall business targets- disbursements, AUM, revenue, profits
- Responsible for strategic planning of the business unit- drafting annual budgets, strategic objectives & goals.
- Responsible for drafting policies and guidelines pertaining to the business department and act as a custodian of such policies..
- Drive field productivity which is above industry average productivity (new business/case load).
- Ensure above industry average collection efficiency by adhering to the best practices
- Oversee all digital technology infusion in the zones and manage better TAT.
- Build and maintain productive and strategic relations with customer's / line manager / stakeholders to drive the development and delivery of business solutions and revenue growth for the microfinance business.
- Minimum Qualifications: Masters or Equivalent in Business Administration, preferably in Accounting & Finance domain
Minimum Experience: 15 plus years, MBA/CA preferred.
