Position: Deputy Branch Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Performance Monitoring:
- Performance Tracking: Regularly monitor and assess the branch's performance against set targets and benchmarks.
- Reporting: Provide reports and insights on branch performance to senior management.
Sales Targets Achievement:
- Target Overachievement: Ensure the branch not only meets but exceeds sales targets.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
Business Growth:
- Size Expansion: Focus on increasing the Gross Ledger size of the branch through effective cross-selling and promotion of third-party products.
- Product Focus: Drive the sales of liability products (e. , tax-saving bonds, mutual funds, IPOs, POS, FDR, CA-SA, life & general insurance) and asset products (e. , housing loans, car loans, personal loans).
Profit Maximization:
- Fee-Based Income: Work towards maximizing profits and increasing fee-based income for the branch.
- Cost Optimization: Manage and optimize operating costs to enhance branch profitability.
Quality and Compliance:
- Audit Rating: Ensure the branch maintains an outstanding audit rating by adhering to all regulatory and internal standards.
- Quality Standards: Implement and uphold quality standards to achieve outstanding quality scores.
Customer Service:
- Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered.
- Issue Resolution: Address any customer service issues promptly and effectively.
Staff Training & Development:
- Functional Training: Impart necessary functional training to branch staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Motivation & Development: Motivate and develop subordinates to foster a productive and engaged team environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience in branch management or a similar leadership role within the banking or financial services sector.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing branch operations.
Knowledge:
- Understanding of banking products, both liability (e. , insurance, mutual funds) and asset (e. , loans).
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and audit procedures.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical skills for performance monitoring and cost optimization.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer service and staff development.
