Department Head - Quality Control - Cement Industry

Job Location:- Awarpur Cement Work, Chandrapur (MH)

Age : Maximum 42 years

Key Responsibility Areas :

1)Accountability: Quality Control: Organize for testing, inspection and control of all income, in process finished products for ensure consistent quality products. Optimization of Raw Mix : Design and develop appropriate cost effective raw mix to ensure consistent quality of targeted production

2)Research & Development: Organise and coordinate research and development activities for production upgradation, development of new products as per customers requirements and cost optimisation to take competitive markets advantage.

3)People Management : Build & sustain a conducive work culture by effective management of people to improve productivity, growth and motivation levels of employees to institutionalize best organizing practices in the unit.

4)Raw Material Unloading & feeding. Coordinate & monitor timely loading/ unloading of raw material & Clinker rake and supply of coal & raw materials to Cement plant as per requirement to meet the production targets and satisfaction of internal customer. Quality of coal & Raw material: Coordinate & ensure quality of raw material and coal supplied to cement plant as per agreed standards to satisfy the customers.

5)Handling & Maintenance Cost Control:Ensure cost effective operation of raw material handling equipments. Liasion: Liasion with BIS, Pollution Control Board, MoEF and Railway officials .

System Improvment: Ensure implementation of ISO, EMS, WCM system in his department through the involvement of people for improving plant performance and quality standards.
