Purpose of this role:
1. The Strategist is responsible for management of the company's creative product by delivering strategic communication solutions that help clients attain their marketing and communication objectives.
- The incumbent shall work with client servicing team to develop aspect of campaigns based on the client's marketing plan, conceptualizing those ideas then translating them into identity and creative that is breakthrough and compelling for clients.
- The incumbent will also be responsible for the artistic output of the creative team and creative processes; the ideation, presentation and execution of client branding and marketing communications campaigns; the profitability and creative quality of client projects, the operational readiness of the creative team, and fulfilment of the Agency brands promise to clients.
- The incumbent will play a strategic role in developing new business pitches.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop digital and mainline strategies for clients.
- This spans all their digital and ATL marketing requirements including Print Media, websites, mobile, search, social media, email marketing, campaigns and promotions, mobile etc.
- Understand clients' business and domain challenges and provide strategic direction for their mainline needs.
- Analyze and understand the client mandates in terms of their business objectives.
- Research and keep current on emerging online trends and best practices specific to mainline media and counsel and recommend to clients as appropriate.
- Have knowledge of mainline and additional digital media measurements and be able to analyze key trends on the mainline initiatives undertaken.
- Work closely with strategy and marketing staff and the Client directly to devise cost effective earned, owned and mainline strategies that deliver tangible business results.
- Target audience profiling, developing industry insights as well as auditing our client's mainline marketing execution vs. competitors for best practices and innovation.
- Collaborate with the client's brand team, and internal staff to develop a range of creative, consumer facing print media marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Develop and present print / Engagement Points of View (POVs) to senior client leadership as requested.
10. Oversee the translation of the Client's strategy into comprehensive marketing plans, milestones and deliverables within budget parameters.
11. Build and grow relationships across all internal client departments to develop smart and effective solutions that help integrate mainlineand digital across the client's marketing mix (offline, Print, social, mobile, digital, etc.
- Advise on global mainline strategy as needed and serve as the go-to expert for trends & innovation.
Business Development:
1. Actively participate in prospecting and pitching for new clients.
- Generate revenue for the existing and new business clients
QUALIFICATION:
- Post Graduate,BMM, BMS, Diploma in Marketing and Communications, Diploma in Advertising and Communications.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Should be able to manage brands on his own without supervision
- Collaborate with creatives and client servicing
- Have 6-9 years of experience in brand planning and proficient in mainline strategy
- Any prior work with Automobile brand is considerable
