Main Responsibilities:

- Develop the aggregate demand plan and supporting assumptions on a monthly basis for Demand Review Meeting with key stakeholders

- Development of root cause analysis for medium to long term forecast error trends within the business. The outputs will be used to improve business forecast accuracy.

- Ensures the agreed actions from the demand management review meetings are executed.

- Uses forecast accuracy and a measure of bias to identify and agree actions that will improve the demand planning and supporting assumptions.

- Work with analysts to develop and implement an aligned vision and strategy to provide robust analytical support to the Sales teams.

- Monitor key KPI’s relating to Demand Planning and Control processes for India and highlight trends where regional assistance may be appropriate.

- Develop a top line forecast to validate the overall size of the business and identify movements. The macro forecast indicators should be monitored monthly for change.

- Develop, document, update, and challenge the factors and assumptions supporting the demand plan.

- Assist the sales, marketing, and brand managers, in preparing for the demand consensus review meeting and Product Management Review Meeting (PMR).

- Develop product mix forecasts as input for supply planning, based on the aggregate demand plan.

Develop demand plans for new products and/or new markets, working with Brand Managers as appropriate.

- Establish, maintain, and utilize forecasting and communications tools for accomplishing the above.

- Provide data input to assist in the development of marketing/manufacturing strategies and objectives, including customer service objectives, inventory targets, backlog/lead time objective, and decision points (time fences) for managing change.
