About our Client - Our client is a one of the largest independent chemical manufacturing company with a gross annual turnover of over billion dollars with 15000 employees worldwide. Their products are the intermediary good used to manufacture numerous everyday end products ranging from personal care products, auto parts, durable textile, medical devices etc..They are currently looking for currently looking for Demand Planner for their Planning and Strategy team in Mumbai

Job Description - You will be reporting to the Manager - Planning, Strategy and Services in India and are required to perform the following functions:

- Sales planning (AFMEI) Planning supplies of Polypropylene from AFMEI sources and sold into Afmei, AmericaN markets

- Timely management of sales forecast process PP product from Afmei sources

- Compile and issue an availability plan to sales/agents/customer service in a correct and timely manner

- Single point of contact for all supply related aspects with the supply sources

- Compile and issue monthly report on forecast accuracy Monitor daily order intake against sales plan and discuss recommendations

- Source planning (AFMEI) Define all regional sales forecast into sales forecast requests to Afmei plant

- Adhere to optimized schedules, balance commercial priorities and manufacturing constraints

- Meet market demand ,optimize asset, stock level and logistic costs

- Ensure product availability in line with market demand

- Assess supply / sales opportunities among the regions in case of under-, over-supply situation

- Communicate on product availability with sourcing coordinators of other regions

The Successful Candidate - You are a BE Chemical/ BCom with a PGDM in Supply Chain/Logistics, 5 years experience in a polypropylene and polypropylene compounds related manufacturing /distribution setup. The ideal candidate must have good command of the SAP -SD and MM Module, with strong Export planning and distribution expertise. You are also a strong team player and an effective communicator with highly developed organizational skills.
