Experience:

8 years - 12 years- experience in network & security in the IT infrastructure space

Qualification:

BE/ B. Tech and M.Tech (preferred)

Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon / Mumbai

Key requirements

- Strong pre-sales experience in the IT Infrastructure space. Have experience of leading / facilitating large RFPs and proposals in this space

- Understanding and solving business and technology challenges related to the design and implementation of network & security

- Ability in leveraging acumen to understand underlying client business problems, while developing and delivering technology-enabled solutions that addresses the identified issues

- Proven record in developing business cases and understanding underlying ROI

- Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and so on

- Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, intrusion detection systems and active directory administration

- Design and implement strategic plans to make certain network capacity meets existing and future requirements

- Monitor and ensure all software is fully licensed and in compliance

- Create and document all networks vLANs and WANs

- Plan, budget, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organization's network

- Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services

- Document standards and approve all network computing equipment

- Identify, assess and upgrade customer information technology infrastructure regarding risks and vulnerabilities

- Hands-on experience of performing Security Network Architecture Reviews to analyze an overall security environment from the WAN to the desktop. Evaluate all components of the environment to include placement and functionality of core security devices such as firewalls and IPS/IDS, NAC, anti-malware, endpoint security, segmentation, denial of service prevention, wireless security, data flows, and physical and logical design of the network

- Hands-on experience on software defined networking

- Identify gaps in the security architecture, and develop recommendations for long and short term roadmap for corrections

- Provide security configuration services around firewall ruleset design, review, implementation and operation management

Applicable knowledge of:

- Firewalls

- Network intrusion detection

- Security audits, diagnostics, forensic tools

- Management tools and procedures

- Enterprise security programs

Certifications (Preferred)

- Network certifications: CCIE, CCNA

- Security certifications: CISSP, CCSE, CEH, CCSK

- Operating system certification: MCSE, Linux certification
