The incumbent in this role will be a Development Specialist (CL5- Manager) and will contribute to custom approaches for business needs, team based needs, competency based models and specialized skills.
- The incumbent would need progressively complex experience in planning and delivering internal / externally focused learning services in matrixed organizations focused on international markets. They need to have experience in the areas of training needs identification/analysis, vendor management, program/project management, cross border stakeholder management and managing budget and finance activities for the Development CoE team.
- In conjunction with the US India Audit & Assurance Development CoE leadership, the role holder will act as a performance consultant and will execute learning strategy, manage delivery of the learning programs, build, and manage key stakeholder relationships across Development CoE/ Talent and USI Audit and Assurance businesses and learning operations at his/her placement location. He/she will also drive and manage the learning investments, finance and budgets allocated, enhance operational efficiencies ensuring on scheduled adherence, manage learner schedules for USI Audit & Assurance Development CoE.
In your role you will :
- Work with Audit & Assurance Development CoE team as a performance consultant to help the team define and implement sustainable, strategic initiatives related to Talent Development
- Lead data analysis to drive advanced understanding of learning consumption. Help develop and maintain reports on learning consumption via Deloitte development tools.
- Design, develop and deliver end-to-end learning solutions to meet the business outcomes and the needs
- Lead the creation and development of various learning programs, training experiences, to help support Deloitte personnel develop the capabilities and knowledge needed to grow within the firm
- Manage the process related to the tracking practitioner's compliance with mandatory/recommended learning requirements and onboarding trainings
- Ensure national policies, programs, and guidelines are followed and manage exemptions/exceptions, as needed
- Participate in or lead learning project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, SMEs and peers
- Provide functional area expertise to identify, research and resolve complex problems
- Execute and operationalize development programs and processes
- Use learning measurement and analytics to assess program efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that all key learning metrics are measured, published, and leveraged for decision making
- Oversee the delivery of Audit & Assurance learning and capability development programs through collaboration with Core Talent Services delivery team
- Curate non-technical program/ learning interventions which can be offered in the right mix of modalities
- Work with Audit & Assurance Dev CoE team to manage learning and development investment through effective planning, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management
Strategy :
- Drive strategic initiatives that support the USI Audit and Assurance Development strategy (identified each year through strategic planning) in alignment with the business strategy
- Act as a performance improvement consultant around analyzing needs, solutioning and executing strategy focused on building Technical and Professional capabilities across roles within the business
- Align closely with the US Audit and Assurance Learning team USI and business leaders to drive the execution of the learning strategy
- Develop and sustain a high touch learning culture and enable a consistent approach towards development
- Manage L&D investment through effective planning, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management
- Use learning measurement and analytics to assess program efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that all key learning metrics are measured, published and leveraged for decision making
Managing Relationships :
- Leverage deep relationship with key business leaders and develop a strong understanding of business needs and strategic priorities to provide effective service delivery
- Act as a performance consultant and manage key stakeholder relationships across US & USI Audit and Assurance Talent and business
- Build trusting relationship within team and outside, contribute to building a positive and nurturing team culture
- Build strong and deep relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Operations :
- Track and maintain the learning budget for USI Audit and Assurance Development CoE by using advanced financial management skills. Manage period wise variance between re-forecast and actual numbers within +/-10% range for his/her portfolio
- Execute the development activities for USI Audit and Assurance business teams including identifying learning needs, enabling development and design of learning content, delivery of training programs, measurement and analysis of learning effectiveness
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Identify risks and opportunities to mitigate them
- Strengthen the USI Audit and Assurance Talent Development's alignment with the business by creating and curating learning solutions to achieve business priorities
- Ensure delivery of high-quality instructional materials for multiple delivery channels. Maintain oversight on all vendor delivered programs within the business unit
- Capture data and metrics around Talent Development programs within his/her portfolio and deliver insights and dashboards to leadership on compliance, capability, skill gaps, learning trend movement, as well as efficiency and effectiveness of L&D investments. Periodically communicate the right set of metrics to the relevant stakeholder group

Talent team offers HR solutions by tapping into the different aspects of HR policies, to ensure every professional's engagement with the organization is meaningful. It is structured into five major organizations: Talent Acquisition, Talent Delivery, Talent Development, Talent Specialties and Talent Operations. This position is within the Talent Development/ Development CoE team. The USI Audit and Assurance Development CoE Team, owns the learning and development charter for the USI Audit and Assurance business. This team supports all offices within the USI region. This team aligns with the business to build and develop Technical, Industry, Professional and Leadership skills of its practitioners.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Education: Master's Degree
- Experience Required: 8-12 years (at least 5 years of related professional experience)
- Experience in instructional design and knowledge of instructional design tools and methodologies
- Excellent project/program management experience: organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
- Exemplary planning, budgeting and execution skills
- Ability to communicate with influence and impact, effectively conveying insights, a clear point of view and recommendations in ways that inspire action and advance business strategy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking environment
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and ability to produce deliverables that carry a "stamp of excellence"
- Up to 50% travel could be required based on role responsibilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a learning and development organization
- Prior consulting or professional services experience; experience dealing with professionals and leaders in a matrix organization
- Ability to identify power centers, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus-based decisions
- Ability to partner with business and provide consultation on decision making towards professional and leadership development of the workforce
- Ability to network with relevant stakeholders and build strong relationships
