Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Financial Services Consulting Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering consulting projects. The Financial Services Consulting Manager will play a key role in providing strategic guidance to clients, driving business development initiatives, and leading a team of consultants to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the financial services sector, including but not limited to Banks (both local and global), NBFCs, FinTechs, Payments Service Providers, Regulators, etc.

- Understand client needs and objectives, providing strategic advice and solutions to address their challenges.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction with consulting services.

Project Management:

- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of consulting projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and project teams.

- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure the successful achievement of project goals.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of Analysts, Consultants and Sr. Consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

- Conduct performance evaluations and implement strategies for team improvement.

Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services sector.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business development strategies.

- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.

Industry Expertise:

- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial services consulting.

- Share industry insights with clients and internal teams to enhance the quality and relevance of consulting services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field

- MBA from Tier 1 B-school

- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in financial services, with at least 2-3 years of experience in consulting, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

- Strong understanding of industry, regulatory environments, and industry-specific challenges.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

- Demonstrated business development experience.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with strategy formulation, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance.

- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

- Analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable recommendations.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
