Roles & Responsibility - Smart Cities

1. Responsible for the Positioning Technology strategy IN Smart City. Developing Architecture, Design & Solution across all smart city domains.

2. Principal Architect for Technical designs & Engineering for various ICT technology being conceptualized for business like Smart Cities, Large Government and Private Infrastructure projects..

3. Should have proven experience in 2 domains - Utility (Energy or Water Distribution), Integrated Traffic Management, City Surveillance, Solid Waste Management, E-Governance

a. Security Solutions: Security solutions for City Surveillance Systems, Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITMS), Security and Management Systems for Critical Infrastructure across ports, airports, metros, IT parks and public buildings.

b. Network and Telecom Infrastructure : Solutions for a range of requirements covering Wired & Wireless Networks including OFC; IP-based DWDM Communication Network; GSM services; Wi-Fi; Fixed Broad Band; Satellite and Microwave RF Links; ICT / Data Centre Infrastructure; Multimedia Services & Gateways.

c. Smart Solutions: Smart Energy, Grids, Smart Water Solutions, Smart Transportation Emergency Management Systems, Real-time Information Systems and Smart Cities, Smart Buildings.

4. Solution Design, Architecture and planning & Implementation of large projects in the area of ICT and similar Telecom IT projects based on IT application services

5. Standardizing specifications for equipment & materials. Release of RFPs, standard designs & Bill of Quantities working with OEM and partners

6. Working with City/Government Officials specific requirements, existing applications and mapping client business requirements to systems/technical requirements.

7. Understand City as-is analysis in 2 domains, Gap Analysis, Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign, Share best practices and be consultative to clients throughout duration of the project.

8. Lead the UAT efforts, validating AT/ VT documents for various solutions & Designs being developed for its effective deployment with hassle-free Interoperability.

9. Proven track record in areas such Core Networks, IOT platform, Cloud and ICT applications & relevant technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere.

10. Conceptualize and develop relevant solutions aligned to customer's need pertaining to Smart City IT & ICT based requirements.

11. Technical Gap Analysis between Customer requirement and OEM's solution offering.

12. Project Management & Technical governance/support in execution of critical ICT & IT Solution based projects, implementation mapping to original requirements.

13. Responsible for creating consulting and software services based Portfolio across Information Communication Technology (ICT).

Experience / Exposure

1. Having 12-15 years of experience in Telecom/IT industry, especially in the area of IT, ICT and Application based solutions for City, Telecom networks, Smart City projects

2. Have experience in enterprise data & analytic disciplines such as Enterprise Architecture, Data Management, Enterprise Data Warehousing, Data Analytics.

3. Should have in-depth knowledge of Business Process Framework eTOM with an experience of planning & implementation of network management system, OSS and DC-DR clustering is required

4. 3-5 years of hands-on-experience in solution design & network/solution architecture development experience with an exposure of large scale implementation, Surveillance, Security, IOT & ICT Applications and Command Control solutions.

5. Broad understanding and experience of real-time analytics, data modeling and management, analytical tools Open Source Big Data technologies etc.

6. Knowledge in various areas including data center, platforms, storage, database, web services, security, service desk, ITIL etc and Network Security solutions like Firewall, IPS, VPN, would be required.

7. Strong background within information security and security engineering, with hands-on experience of a diverse range of security technologies (that include: multivendor and application firewalls, HIDS, NIDS/NIPS, NAC, SSL and IPSEC DLP, SIEM, Authentication, load balancing, encryption technologies, end user computing security, cloud security, Network security, and OS vulnerability scanning tools and management) would be preferred

Education & Skillset

1. BE/BTech in Electronics & Telecommunication or Computer Science/Information Technology, with working experience in Telecom/IT domain, preferably in areas of ICT and Application based Network solutions. MBA is a definite Plus

2. Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills with high level of
