Global Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
Overview of the team :
The Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team is part of the global firm. We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.
The team is at the core of the Firm's strategy, working with industries and practice areas to orchestrate the ESG delivery efforts and solve the most complex challenges in more cohesive, consistent, and exponentially powerful ways.
Core responsibilities:
Team management:
- Strong program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Manage and coach junior team members; assist with monitoring capacity utilization, recognition, motivation, and performance management
- Promote best practice and knowledge shares among US/global and India team members
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with US/global counterparts
Individual contributor:
- Work directly with global Director and team to support ESG and Firm leadership in driving the ESG agenda
- Own, plan, and manage assigned projects, which will include collaboration and coordination with a variety of stakeholders across global businesses, industries/sectors and member firms
- Gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations; use advanced storyboarding and excel skills
- Demonstrate and apply strong knowledge of management frameworks
- Develop compelling power point presentations for use with the most senior leaders of the global organization; opportunity to present to internal ESG leadership team
- Work with ESG leaders to define success metrics, establish tracking processes, develop and manage KPIs
- Support and help develop overall team/project management efforts across all ESG priorities
- Support the ESG team to navigate cross-border/business/industry processes and connection with appropriate subject matter experts (i.e., Technology, Finance, Talent, etc.)

- Ability to integrate and synthesize large sets of data and broad stakeholder perspectives into meaningful recommendations
- Passion for ESG and joint go-to-market activities; prior knowledge/experience in ESG a plus
- Ability to manage operational performance and reporting cycles (e.g. oversight of KPIs, management of global sprints/workplans, etc.)
- Highly developed personal and professional ethics are expected
- Strong presentation and verbal and written communication skills, and experience communicating to, and working with, virtual teams, and senior leadership
- Ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment with many competing priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives
Academic qualifications and professional experience:
Academic qualification: Master's Degree - MBA : Tier I, Tier II
Work experience: 13+ years, with at least 10 years of post-MBA experience
- Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy or ESG firms
